“Stanford Chief Wants Higher Ed to Be ‘Affordable,’ ‘Accessible,’ ‘Adaptable'”

In a talk at the American Council on Education’s annual meeting, John. L. Hennessy, the president of Stanford University, told the audience that American higher education isn’t badly broken. It’s still “the envy of the world, he said.  But it has to reckon with serious problems, including rising costs and falling degree-completion rates.
